Dara Barr grew up in the southern Hudson Valley region of Rockland County, in what is technically the suburbs straddled between the glories of Urban NYC and the wonders North of the Catskills. Despite always yearning for a farmhouse and a garden upstate, she resided in Manhattan for 20 years before finally following her heart to the wilds of the Oliverea Valley. She crafts home over a wide terrain. Having lived in Margaretville, High Falls, Cragsmoor and Claryville, and having spent time in most corners of the counties that define the Mid-Hudson Valley and Catskills, she is a resource of the intricacies of what makes each town and region special. Her professionalism and care for people are exemplified in her prior work as a fertility expert within one of New York's largest high end wellness clinics. As an acupuncturist guiding patients to their dream of parenthood, she now channels the same spirit into her real estate clients. Home and family. Her ultimate goal is to provide her clients with the resources and tools they need to prepare their home for market and to support qualified and active buyers in finding the right place to call home.
Generally, with Ben the Dog in tow, her explorations continue in order to bring a wealth of knowledge and resources to ease the transition of creating this beautiful life. One that follows the heart and ideally has wide plank floor boards.
